The port of Praia Mole is the main point of export for the products of CST
(Companhia Siderurgica de Tubarão), Açominas, Usiminas, and Belgo Mineira, and Arcelor Mittal, the largest steel producer around. Products loaded are slabs, blooms, ingots, HRC and Steel coils, billets, blank disks, circle blanks and WRC.
which is served by an export terminal for steel products with capacity for 5.8 million metric tons/year.

Entrada do Rebocador Oceanico Bluster nesta amanha, ele era o antigo Maersk Launcher, proveniente da bacia sul do ES, o Bluster pertence a famosa ITC da Holanda, empresa que opera rebocadores ocenicos, empregados com enfoque em salvamento de navios, e reboques por longas distancias.
O Bluster tem 140 toneladas de traçao estatica, por isso ele é um Reboque/manuzeio de ancoras e supridor.
Com um total de 12.000 cavalos de força seus motores o impusionam a velocidade maxima de 16 Nos.
Being ITC’s core activity, powerful ocean salvage tugs are performing long distance tows with large objects, like drilling rigs, storage tankers and other floating equipment on such a regular basis, that this track record seems endless. All tugs have a double drum with a third (spare) towing wire stored onboard together with a large stock of additional pennant wires, shackles and stretchers.
A ITC tem como atividade principal os serviços de Reboque oceânico e salvamento /resgate/socorro no mar, seus rebocadores sao habilitados a fazerem regulamente reboques por longas distancias, reboques de grandes objetos, como plataformas de perfuração, tanques de estocagem (FSO, FPSO), e outros tipos de equipamentos, seus rebocares possuem uma ficha de serviço ilimitada.
Todos os rebocadores possuem, Sarilhos/guinchos duplos com um terceiro cabo de reboque armazenado a bordo junto com um grande estoque de adicionais cabos de guia amarras, e manilhas, e esticadores, e um infinidade de equipamentos para manuseio de ancoras e reboque oceânico.
